Our owner, Oscar Torres always recommended his customers to clean their panels at least once every 3 months to maximize their power output, when he was working on solar installations. The more

frequently you clean your panels the more power they will produce.

We also offer protective berries around your solar panels, to keep birds, pigeons and squirrels from nesting under, and damaging your power output and your solar panels.

Solar Panel Common Issues

Soaps and other Cleaners

Soaps can leave a film or residue that not only shades panels like the dirt that was just washed off, but it can also encourage dirt to stick and build up faster, using deionized water cleaning requires less water, fewer passes and no harsh chemicals or detergents.

Weather

When rain happens soil accumulates at the bottom edge of the solar panel, obstructing the lower PV cell row and hindering the production efficiency.

Hot Spots

Soiling also causes Hot Spots, which means the current can’t flow properly, it causes increase resistance, the shading is lowering the amount of irradiance that hits the panel and the hot spots brings down the voltage due to cell temperature. The accumulation of nest materials and bird droppings create Hot Spots leading to subsequent failures of cells within the panels.
